Kentucky stars De'Aaron Fox and Edrice "Bam"Adebayowere bawling after the Wildcats lost on a heart-breaking shot in the final seconds of Sunday's Elite Eight matchup with North Carolina.
The pair were in the locker room after the Tar Heels pulled outthe 75-73 win on Luke Maye's winning jumper with 0.3 seconds remaining, and they didn't hold their emotions back.
"I love my brothers, man," Fox said. "I'm just trying to replay it back and forth in my head. This is going to be difficult to get over, but I got to."
Fox, when asked if he was going to declare for the NBA Draft, said he isn't even thinking about the future at the moment and isn't worrying about tomorrow.
The point guard didn't have his best game against UNC, shooting 5 of 14 from the floor and scoring just 13 points.Adebayo alsohad 13 points and 7 rebounds.
Both freshmen, it's highly possible this heartbreaking loss was their last game at Kentucky.
