WATCH: Will Jordan shows his class as he sets up a try in Crusaders’ win over Force
Will Jordan returned to action for the Crusaders in their 48-13 Super Rugby Pacific triumph over the Western Force in Christchurch on Saturday and showed his class as he set up a try for the defending champions.
The 25-year-old has been battling an ongoing migraine-related illness which has kept him on the sidelines since September last year but started at full-back against the Force and was soon in the thick of the action.
In the 25th minute, the Crusaders were on the attack just outside the Force‘s 22 and Jordan joined the line at pace before gliding through a gap in the visitors’ defence.
He was soon inside his opponents’ 22 and drew in a defender before getting a pass out to Leicester Fainga’anuku, who went over in the left-hand corner for the Crusaders’ third try.

Richie Mo’unga added the extras to give the home side a 17-6 lead after Brodie McAlister had earlier crossed the whitewash twice for the Crusaders, while the Force’ points came courtesy of a couple of penalties from Max Burey.
On the stroke of half-time, Macca Springer scored the Crusaders’ fourth try and Mo’unga converted again to give his side a 24-6 lead at the interval.
After the break, McAlister clinched his hat-trick in the 42nd minute and the Crusaders continued to dominate as Fainga’anuku scored his second-five pointer shortly afterwards to give the hosts a comfortable 36-6 lead.
Further tries from Springer and Codie Taylor followed to hammer home the Crusaders’ advantage, before Jackson Pugh scored a consolation try for the Force in the game’s closing stages.
