Jose Mourinho has made a surprise cameo in the latest music video produced by British superstar Stormzy.

The London rapper dropped his latest single ‘Mel Made Me Do It’ on Thursday night, with appearances from a range of celebrities.

One such famous face was legendary former Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham boss Mourinho, who took time out from coaching Serie A side Roma to show his playful side.

In the video, Mourinho hilariously produces the shush gesture alongside Stormzy while one of his most famous quotes - the subject of relentless daily memes across social media - plays in the background.

“I prefer really not to speak. If I speak, I am in big trouble,” the Portuguese says, a familiar refrain particularly prominent after he was sent off while managing Chelsea in an ill-tempered Premier League defeat by Aston Villa back in 2014.

Mourinho also posed for a picture alongside Stormzy on Instagram, writing: “Was great fun doing this cameo for Stormzy’s new music video out today. I had a great time.”

Olympic icon Usain Bolt also features in the video, as do a host of other celebs including Louis Theroux, Malorie Blackman, Dave and Little Simz. There is also a moving monologue written by Wretch 32 that is narrated by actress Michaela Coel.

Mourinho has now spent 22 years in football management, but admitted this week that he was steadily reaching the twilight of his career. However, he plans to stick around in the game for a little while yet.

“These 22 years have passed quickly, but I want to continue,” he said at the Quinas de Ouro event in his native Portugal. “I feel good, I feel strong, motivated, I like winning, I hate losing, nothing has changed.

“The colour of my hair, yes, even the wrinkles, but I want to go on. Not for another 22 years, as there is no time, but for a few more years.”
