Navy veteran and fitness YouTuber Austen Alexander has subjected himself to an array of different military fitness tests. In a new video on his channel, he challenges three track athletes—including a pair of two-time Team USA Olympians—to take on the U.S. Marine Corps' Combat Fitness Test. All three of them, consisting of track and field athlete Kendell Williams, triple jumper Keturah Orji, and Atlanta Track Club middle distance runner Allie Wilson, are gamely up for the challenge.

The first event in the test is an 800-meter run, which has to be completed in under 4:41 for a passing grade. Keturah goes first and takes 3:20 to finish. Kendell completes her run in 2:52, surpassing the maximum score for her age group. Then it's Allie's turn. As a middle distance runner who does 800 meters all the time, this should be hers for the taking, but the circumstances are a little different here.

"Normally I don't have these pants and boots on, so I'm a little nervous about it," she says before the run, but she still achieves the best time in this round, finishing the 800 meters in 2:28. "I'm pretty proud of that," she says.

The second test is the ammo can lift, which somewhat recreates the movement of an overhead press. Full extension of the arms at the upper end of the move is required for each rep to count. Keturah must complete a minimum of 30 reps in 2 minutes in order to pass this round: she churns out 91 reps in the allotted time, surpassing the maximum score and lighting up her shoulders in the process. Kendell goes next and performs even better, hitting 119 reps in 2 minutes. Finally, Allie manages 90 reps.

The third and final round is "maneouver under fire", a sequence of drills including low crawls and bear crawls through a set of markers, dragging a person back around the field markings, carrying them over their shoulders, followed by a farmer's carry, a "grenade" throw, and 5 pushups.

Keturah completes the gauntlet in 2:28, Kendell in 2:24, and Allie in 2:32, meaning they've all hit the max score for their respective age groups in this portion of the test. All in all, Kendell and Allie both hit top marks of 300 points, while Keturah is just behind them with a passing grade of 294.
