Watch: Santi Cazorla pulled apart in a magic trick - The Five Pointer

Welcome to The Five Pointer - Yahoo Sport's daily round-up of five talking points in sport.

The main story today came from the Women’s World Cup. England beat Japan 2-0 to top group D and maintain their 100% winning start to the competition as they head into the knockout stage.

But it was a tough night for Scotland, who led Argentina 3-0 with 17 minutes to go and looked to be heading for the next round. But they let that lead slip - Argentina scored a penalty in the 94th to equalise, and to make things worse, that penalty was taken twice, firstly it was saved by Lee Alexander, only for VAR to order a retake, sending Scotland home.

Last week the Premier League fixtures for the new season were announced and today it was the turn of the EFL.

After being relegated from the top flight last season, Fulham will travel to Barnsley on the opening day in the Championship.

Defeated play-off finalists Derby will take on Huddersfield, and in League Two, Salford will play their first ever match in the Football League at home to Stevenage.

Paul Jubb will make his grand slam debut next month and has already impressed by becoming the first Briton to win the NCAA men’s singles championship in the US, following in the footsteps of John McEnroe and Jimmy Connors.

And finally, as if he hasn’t had enough injuries to contend with in recent years, former Arsenal and current Villarreal midfielder Santi Cazorla was cut in half as part of a magic trick.

The Spaniard was put into a box before two sharp metal plates were put in the middle, the the box was then pulled apart and the two sections of the Spaniard were paraded around the studio.

Luckily the magic trick was a success and he was put safely back together.
