A city centre hotel was attacked by dozens of masked thugs in a horrifying incident.
A mob of hooligans clad in black with weapons and flares stormed the Euro Hostel on Clyde Street just after midnight.
In video footage obtained by the Glasgow Times, a large mob can be seen holding what looks like weapons and flares and storming the hostel.
One terrified resident said they saw what looked like fire in the hostel and large red flashes.
They added: "I could hear the shouting and I saw people dressed in black with flares in their hands.
"More than 10 police cars came to the scene but I'm not sure if they found them or not.
"I want to know who attacked the hostel. I need to know to feel calm."
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Just after midnight on Friday, September 22, we received a report of a disturbance in the Clyde Street area of Glasgow.
“Officers attended and three men were arrested and released pending further enquiries.
“No one was injured and officers are carrying out an investigation to establish the full circumstances.”
