The second day of the second Test between West Indies and Pakistan saw rain playing spoilsport and the entire day’s play was called off. With no action possible on the field, the players took it upon themselves to engage in some fun and hilariously acted out a DRS appeal.
The series has seen plenty of rain interruptions, with as many as three out of four T20I’s being called off due to persistent rain in the West Indies. The misery continues for the players as the downpour once again forced the umpires to suspend play for the day.
Unperturbed, the Windies cricketers displayed their camaraderie in the dressing room. The team is seen playing cricket indoors to have some fun during a gloomy day. Jomel Warrican is seen batting and he gets rapped on the pads by a delivery from Chemar Holder.
Umpire Shamarh Brooks gives him out LBW but Warrican opts for a review. A couple of players then join in to ‘track the ball’ for the DRS. Few players are heard screaming that the impact is outside off but, Jason Holder, playing as the third umpire, is unconvinced and displays ‘OUT’ on the ‘big screen’.

After West Indies’ stunning start, Pakistan recover through Babar Azam and Fawad Alam on Day 1
Being put in to bat first, Pakistan was down in the dumps when a combination of poor strokes and excellent bowling saw them reeling at 2/3. Kemar Roach and Jayden Seales reaped the benefits of some tight bowling and put the West Indies on top.
A partnership ensued between Pakistan skipper Babar Azam and experienced campaigner, Fawad Alam, which rescued the visitors. Just when it looked like Pakistan would run away with the day’s honors, Alam suffered an injury, and Babar was dismissed by Roach.
They ended the day on 212/4, with ‘keeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan and Faheem Ashraf at the crease. West Indies had pocketed the first game by one wicket so the onus is on Pakistan to draw the series level.
