Blackburn Rovers are keen on West Brom winger Jed Wallace who it’s claimed is on manager John Eustace ’s “wish list” if they miss out on Crystal Palace’s Jeffrey Schlupp.

The Sun’s transfer specialist Alan Nixon claims that the Rovers boss likes versatile Palace midfielder Schlupp, 32, who is also of interest to Championship rivals QPR and a number of MLS outfits.

But if Schlupp snubs Rovers they will “try for respected Wallace” after the 30-year-old has found himself unable to get regular starts with the Baggies and “may seek to move” for more game time.

Wallace, a former Wolves and Millwall player, joined The Hawthorns in June 2022 and has made over 100 league appearances and scored 12 goals for Albion.

Eustace, it is claimed, also wants a striker and Blackburn are among the pack who would take Patrick Bamford, 31, if he decides to leave Leeds, the report concludes.
