West Ham, Newcastle and Wolves have all been linked with moves for Dynamo Kyiv star Viktor Tsygankov by a report.

The 24-year-old came through Dynamo’s academy and has gone on to play 219 games for the Ukrainian side, scoring an impressive 87 goals and chipping in with 60 assists as well.

Tsygankov was born in Nahariya, Israel, but represents Ukraine on the international stage through his parentage.

He tends to play on the right wing but can also operate as a central attacking midfielder or out on the left if needed.

Tsygankov has begun the new campaign well, scoring twice and registering a further two assists in six matches.

He opened his Europa League account with a goal in Dynamo’s recent game against Fenerbahce. However, Dynamo lost that clash 2-1.

They will be looking to get their first points on the board in Group B when they come up against Cypriot outfit AEK Larnaca on Thursday night.

And Tsygankov may have a few scouts to impress. According to French outlet Jeunes Footeux, Premier League teams West Ham, Newcastle and Wolves are all ‘keeping an eye’ on his impressive performances.

Viktor Tsygankov could follow team-mate to England

He isn’t the only Dynamo ace to attract attention from England recently. Team-mate Mykhaylo Mudryk is on Arsenal’s radar. And the 21-year-old attacker ‘dreams’ of playing in the Prem.

Tsygankov is similarly talented and could end up getting a big move. West Ham, Newcastle and Wolves could test Dynamo’s resolve by launching moves in January, when the transfer window gets back up and running.

The report states Tsygankov has an ‘interesting profile’ due to his ability to play in several forward positions. This is attractive for West Ham, Newcastle and Wolves chiefs.

However, it is not a certainty that the 40-cap international will end up in England. The Prem clubs are facing competition for his services from Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig.

Just like West Ham, Newcastle and Wolves, these two German teams believe they can help take Tsygankov to the next level.

Wherever he goes, he should be relatively cheap. Tsygankov’s Dynamo contract expires in June 2023, which means they cannot hold out for his full valuation.

Instead, Dynamo will have to sell for a cut-price fee in January to at least get some money back. This is better than waiting until next summer, when the wide man can leave on a free transfer.

transfermarkt rate him at £22.5million, but Tsygankov will not be moving for anywhere near this price. As such, one of the interested clubs could complete a steal.

Winger must decide on next move

It is now up to Tsygankov to decide which club will further his career and development the most. West Ham are an attractive prospect as they are playing in Europe, unlike Newcastle or Wolves.

David Moyes’ side may only be playing in the Europa Conference League, but it is better than nothing.

Newcastle and Wolves could both challenge for top-eight spots this season, making Tsygankov’s decision that much harder.

There is also Dortmund and Leipzig to consider. Both teams are known to develop players really well before selling them on for a profit.

Tsygankov may fancy his chances of shining in the German Bundesliga before taking part in a big-money transfer in the future.

Meanwhile, West Ham are watching on amid claims Man Utd will ‘revisit’ a player’s transfer situation in January.
