The match ended in a 1-1 draw, Thika United getting their goal in the first half before Western Stima equalized in the second-half.

Skipper Dennis Odhiambo put the hosts in the temporary lead at the stroke of half-time then Moses Arita gave Coach Henry Omino some relief in the 47th minute.

Earlier on,Onwudi Chibueze, Baraka Badi and Suleiman Ngotho had been a thorn in Western Stima’s flesh but the likes of Wesley Onguso, Wycliffe Nyangechi and former AFC Leopards defender Jackson Saleh stood tall to protect their keeper Stephen Odhiambo from any dangers.
