'WH' Investigated Whether 'Golden Bach's Gerry And [SPOILER] Are Still Together
It’s hard to believe, but The Golden Bachelor finale is almost here. While fans have been waiting and searching for spoilers on who the Golden hunk Gerry Turner ultimately chooses, the answers and details have remained very evasive...until now.
Drum roll please. According to Reality Steve, Gerry actually picks Theresa Nist over fan favorite “Glamma” Leslie Fhima.
While Gerry went so far as to wonder what Leslie was doing while he was on his Fantasy Suite date with Theresa, he eventually turned things around with the New Jersey native, and they got super cozy after their overnight date together. Truth be told, Gerry and Theresa have a similar history, too—they both lost their spouses and seem to have a lot in common.
Of course, this is The Bachelor franchise we’re talking about, and it’s known for quick engagements and even quicker breakups after the final rose is handed out. So, are Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist still together? Here’s what to know so far...
Gerry will likely propose to Theresa.
Technically, the leads on The Bachelor actually don’t have to propose at the end of the season, but getting down on one knee is certainly the norm.
Even though Gerry told both Leslie and Theresa that he was in love with them this season, he ultimately decided that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Theresa, per Reality Steve's spoilers. So, one can only assume that he gets down on one knee to propose to her.
She’s not wearing a ring on Instagram.
Theresa doesn’t post a ton of current photos of herself on Instagram, but she recently dropped some pics of herself at her grandson’s soccer game. In the carousel, she’s not wearing an engagement ring, but does notably wear a ring on her righthand ring finger.
This doesn't mean much though, and the whole "not wearing a ring" thing is pretty par for the course with Bachelor Nation stars. Contestants (and especially finalists) are careful about *not* wearing any or posting any details that could spoil the ending before the finale airs.
Her Instagram posts are very loving towards Gerry.
Theresa has posted about her time on the show several times, and her captions have always been very sweet and positive, which seems to suggest that she at least enjoyed filming The Golden Bachelor. And Gerry.
“The feeling of Gerry arriving in my hometown! About to bring him home to meet my family… so excited,” she captioned a shot in early November of the two of them embracing during the Hometowns episode.
In October, she also wrote that she was “grinning from ear to ear 😁,” while talking to Gerry.
I don't know about you, but seems like these two are definitely in love.
Are they still together?
It's not clear at this time. Gerry has offered zero clues in his Instagram, and the same is true for Theresa. Neither one follows the other on the social media platform, and Leslie also doesn't follow any of Gerry's extended family members or his two granddaughters.
There’s no information just yet on how these two are doing and if they're still together (and engaged!), but fans will certainly find out soon enough.
The finale of The Golden Bachelor airs on Thursday, November 30.
