Whoops! Spurs Reject in a Spot of Bother After Filming Betting Advert With Japanese Porn Star

As reported by the  Mirror, former Tottenham midfielder and current  Guangzhou Evergrande star Paulinho could face deportation from China after he was photographed with a Japanese porn star promoting a betting company -  gambling is illegal in the country, and subsequently, the Brazil international is in hot water.

Sold by Spurs two years ago after not cutting it in the Premier League, Paulinho has found his feet in China and is even doing well for the national team; having scored a hat-trick for Brazil last month, he is now rumoured to be a target for German heavyweights Bayern Munich.

Perhaps he'll want to encourage any proposed move away from the Chinese Super League given how he's set to face some serious questions from his current club, after agreeing to promote an Asian betting company called Letou - to make matters worse, pornography is also illegal in China and the aforementioned porn star - Tsukasa Aoi - is one of the biggest Asian stars in the industry.

All in all, it's a bit of a mess; coupled with the fact that the footage was filmed at the very religious Paulinho's home in China, it begs the question: who's advising him, and perhaps they shouldn't anymore!
