Why Jurrien Timber and Fabio Vieira are absent for Arsenal's pre-season clash with Lyon
Eddie Nketiah has been included in the squad for Arsenal's final pre-season friendly against Lyon in the Emirates Cup despite rumours linking him a move away from north London.
Nketiah has been the subject of intense speculation in recent weeks with Marseille understood to be leading the chase for signature. The 25-year-old is understood to be open to the move and reports have suggested that Arsenal are hoping to secure €30million (£25.6million) for his signature.
Mikel Arteta remains intent on using Nketiah in his plans for the season though. The Hale Ender has played a part in every one of Arsenal's pre-season friendlies so far and is named among the substitutes for their clash with Lyon.
He is joined among the subs by Riccardo Calafiori. The Italian international will be looking to make his debut after securing a £42million move from Bologna last month.

Jurrien Timber isn't among the subs though as he continues to recover from a foot problem. The issue is thought to be minor as he continues to recover from an ACL problem.
Fabio Vieira meanwhile is also out of the squad for this clash at Emirates Stadium. The Portuguese midfielder is suffering from a minor hip problem.
