Wilson takes lead in Madeira

Britain's Oliver Wilson took a one-shot lead after the second round of the Madeira Islands Open by shooting a seven-under 65 at the Santo da Serra course.

Wilson heads the leaderboard one shot above Swedish duo Magnus Carlsson and Joakim Lagergren as well as fellow Brit Andy Sullivan.

Sullivan played himself into contention with the best round of the day, carding 64 around the Atlantic course.

South Korea's Kim Si-Hwan is another two shots behind that trio with Portugal's Ricardo Santos, Denmark's Morten Madsen and British pair Richard Bland and one behind him.

Spain's Alvaro Velasco began the day as leader, but a disappointing second-round score of 72 saw him slip down to joint-10th, five shots off the pace.
