Winks, Buonanotte – Leicester City injury news ahead of Brentford clash
Harry Winks is set to miss Leicester City’s trip to Brentford with the groin injury he suffered in Steve Cooper’s final match.
The midfielder was substituted less than 15 minutes into City's defeat to Chelsea and while it does not appear to be a serious issue, it is set to keep him out of Saturday’s fixture at the Gtech Community Stadium. Oliver Skipp was his replacement against Chelsea and will be a contender to start again.
“Harry’s the only one,” caretaker boss Ben Dawson said on the fitness of his team. “He’s recovering well. Tomorrow will probably come too early for him but hopefully he’ll join the group again soon.”

Winks will join long-term absentees Ricardo Pereira (hamstring) and Abdul Fatawu (knee) on the sidelines, with goalkeeper Jakub Stolarczyk (foot) the only other absentee. Aside from that, every other player is available to choose from.
That includes Brighton loanee Facundo Buonanotte. The Argentinian attacking midfielder, who has been one of the stars of City’s season so far, is expected to come back into the side after serving a one-match ban in the defeat to Chelsea. The teenager had picked up five yellow cards.
He could replace any of the trio who played behind Jamie Vardy last weekend. For the loss to Chelsea, Kasey McAteer made his first Premier League start on the right wing, with Wilfred Ndidi playing in the central advanced role, and Bilal El Khannouss one of City’s better performers from the left-hand side.
