Wireless Festival 2022 is only days away from opening at Crystal Palace Park after it arrived there for the first time in 2021.

Ardent music fans can expect to see a huge and exciting array of artists this year, including A$AP Rocky, Chris Brown, J. Cole and Tyler the Creator.

After residents complained about the noise last year, Wireless Festival has also opened up two additional weekends, including at Finsbury Park and one in Birmingham.

The new Wireless Festival 2022 dates are July 1 - 3 at Crystal Palace Park in London, July 8 - 10 at Finsbury Park in London and July 8 - 10 at Outdoor at the NEC in Birmingham.

Up to 42,000 people will descend on the park for the three-day festival. It will take place from 11am-9.30pm over three days from July 1-3.

But, what will the disruption be in Crystal Palace Park, and, how can I avoid the road closures?

Here is everything you need to know.

What road closures will there be in Crystal Palace Park ahead of Wireless Festival 2022?

Festival Republic, who runs the festival, has claimed it is working with Bromley Council’s noise team to reduce local disturbances.

The roads affected are: Anerley Grove, Anerley Park, Anerley Vale, Brunswick Place, Chipstead Close, Cintra Park, Crystal Palace Station Road, Hadlow Place, Hamlet Road, Ledrington Road, Maberley Crescent, Maberley Road, Madeline Road, Melbourne Court, Milestone Road, Palace Road, Pleydell Avenue, Ridsdale Road, Thicket Road, Versailles Road, Waldegrave Road, William Booth Road.

The festival’s official website also advises against travelling by car, as there are no car parking facilities at Crystal Palace Park. There are also no drop-off points, and no pay-and-display bays available.
