Wizards center Thomas Bryant throws down put-back dunk ... on his own hoop
Even on a night in which a New York Knicks player took the floor wearing two different numbers, the NBA’s most embarrassing mistake happened in D.C.
Washington Wizards center Thomas Bryant pulled off an impressive dunk on Saturday against the Orlando Magic, grabbing a rebound and throwing down a one-handed jam.
Unfortunately, he did so while on defense.
Looks like Thomas Bryant is still in the giving spirit 😅😭#Shaqtin pic.twitter.com/HGQgflbhMz

Ouch.
The dunk is even more impressive — and unfortunate — from the camera above the backboard.

The Wizards would eventually lose 130-120, and it’s probably fortunate for Bryant that it was by more than two points. Despite the error, Bryant actually ended up being one of the Wizards’ more impressive players with 21 19 points on 8-of-11 shooting and five rebounds.
