Wolf joins Werder Bremen

Werder Bremen have signed young goalkeeper Raphael Wolf as a replacement for the outgoing Tim Wiese.

The 23-year-old moves to the Weserstadion on a three-year deal after three seasons at Austrian club Kapfenberg, who have just been relegated to the second division.

Munich-born Wolf returns to his native Germany, where he previously spent three years in Hamburg's second team.

Weise is leaving Bremen after seven seasons at the club. The 30-year-old will play for Hoffenheim next term after opting not to renew his contract.
