A WOMAN who was reportedly touched inappropriately while waiting for a bus has prompted a police investigation.

While a woman in her 50s was waiting for the bus, a man inappropriately touched her over her clothing before walking off.

The incident happened on Saturday, April 22, at a bus stop near Renoufs in Poole Road, Westbourne.

Police have released an image of a man they would like to identify as part of their sexual assault investigation.

Police Constable Beren Miles, of Bournemouth police, said: “Following my enquiries, I am now in a position to release an image of a man I would like to identify.

“Anyone who recognises him is asked to please contact us.”
