The World Club Challenge between St Helens and Penrith Panthers will be broadcast live on both Sky Sports and Channel 4 from the BlueBet Stadium.
Channel 4 confirmed its coverage earlier in November, with the game due to be played on Saturday, 18 February. Sky Sports has now confirmed the clash will be shown live on Sky Sports Arena, with a 7:00am UK kick-off time.
It is the first World Club Challenge since 2020, when Sydney Roosters defeated St Helens 20-12 at the Totally Wicked Stadium.
Due to St Helens travelling to Australia in early February, their Super League Round One clash against Huddersfield has been postponed.
World Club Challenge and NRL pre-season coverage
Before then, Paul Wellens’ St Helens take on St George Illawarra Dragons as part of the NRL pre-season challenge. That fixture will also be broadcast live on Sky Sports on Saturday, February 11 with a 9:00am kick-off from WIN Stadium, Wollongong.
Sky Sports will show a total of 20 NRL pre-season fixtures ahead of the 2023 season. New Zealand Warriors versus Wests Tigers kicks-off the action on Thursday, 9 February, with a 7:00am kick-off time.
Newcastle Knights take on Cronulla Sharks on the Friday.
Penrith Panthers will warm-up for the World Club Challenge against Parramatta Eels on the same day as St Helens against St George, with a 7:00am kick-off.
Sky Sports will be broadcasting fixtures from every round throughout the regular NRL season and play-offs along with the Grand Final.
Plus the three State of Origin matches between New South Wales and Queensland will be broadcast live on May 31, June 21 and July 12.
