The Swede will drive for Alex Tamrazov's team, having coached him last season.
Andersson's programme includes Italy, Finland, Germany, France, Spain and Britain.
Italy will be his first drive in a World Rally Car since Italy in 2011.
"It's really quite amazing that they give me this chance," said Andersson, a sometime factory Suzuki WRC driver.
"I thought this season was more or less over for me until Alexey gave me this chance, I am really indescribably happy and grateful."
Andersson, who has driven for the Proton team in the WRC and Asia Pacific series for the last two seasons, drove Tamrazov's Fiesta S2000 in Portugal and was fastest in the category before the engine blew.
