The Hong Kong driver who claimed 10th position in last Sunday’s WTCC Race 2 in Hungary, will join Italian team AF Corse in the GTE-AM category.
He will be behind the wheel of a Ferrari 458 Italia GT2, teaming with Italian racers Lorenzo Casè and Piergiuseppe Perazzini.
“I am happy to return to Le Mans on the 90th anniversary of the 24 Hour race. Le Mans is a completely different kind of competition compared to WTCC, but I have been active in endurance racing throughout my career and I feel well prepared," O’Young said.
"I will race for the top Ferrari team in the world and in a strong driver line-up, so we will be aiming for nothing less than a class victory."
