A Yahoo Sport EXCLUSIVE with the Arsenal fan who used to play football with Bob Marley...

In association with bet365.com, Yahoo Sport chats with entrepreneur Levi Roots about his love of Arsenal and playing football with Bob Marley.

1. Is it true that you used to play football with Bob Marley in Battersea Park?! Was he a good footballer? Was he competitive?

Yes, I kicked a ball around with the great man. He was a brilliant footballer and I genuinely believe that if he hadn’t been a musician, he’d have made it professionally in football. He didn’t need to be competitive really; nobody wanted to tackle such a legend!

2. Having played with him, if you could compare Bob Marley to a current footballer, who would it be?

Ooh, that’s a difficult one. Probably Lionel Messi, just because Marley had such a high level of skills and tricks. As arguably one of the greatest musicians of all time, I can only associate him with the best footballer in the world, nothing less would do!

3. You’re a big Arsenal fan – what does Wenger need to do, or who does he need to bring in, to win the title? Where’s Arsenal weak points in the team?

I think Mourinho’s suggestion that Wenger is a chequebook manager is helping to motivate him! I think we’re more than ready to win the title. The only new signing he should be looking at is a top striker.

4. Would you swap Wenger for Mourinho?

Never! Wenger is synonymous with Arsenal. We couldn’t be managed by the enemy!

5. Would you rather Arsenal play boring football and win, or play great, exciting football and gloriously fail?

Well, I’m all about passion. Life has got to be exciting and so has football. I could never promote boring! If you saw my Dragons’ Den pitch, you’ll know that it everything but boring. A Rastaman from Brixton singing for investment on a show about business and enterprise was hardly safe and I ‘gloriously failed’ when it came to the numbers, but I had passion and that meant I could slay those Dragons!

6. Multiple times last season, fellow Gooner Piers Morgan Tweeted that it was time for Wenger to go. What do you think of that? And what do you think of Mr. Morgan for saying it?

I love Piers on Twitter, he’s so outspoken! I do think people were too quick to blame Wenger last season, though. He’s been there for a long time and totally turned the club around. We’ve had incredible glory times during his management; he can do it for us again.

7. Excluding Arsenal players, who’s the best player in the Premier League?

Sergio Aguero.

8. Who’s Arsenal’s greatest ever player, and their current best player?

Thierry Henry (then) and Sanchez (now).

9. Highbury or the Emirates?

Emirates. I loved Highbury, but I think the club outgrew it.

10. Do you hate Spurs?

Only in a fun way, but yes, of course! I couldn’t bring myself to list Harry Kane as one of the best players in the Premier League in your previous question for that very reason. I love the tribal nature of football.

11. Did you know that Sunderland fans have adopted Bob Marley’s song ‘Three Little Birds’ and turned it into a chant? Reggae seems a bit too laid back for football chants, but should there be more?

I think that’s an amazing idea. Reggae may be calming to listen to, but real ‘Roots Reggae’ is very political and passionate, so I think it would be a good fit!

12. Who’s the greatest ever deadlocked footballer?

Ruud Gullet.

14. Ignoring Arsenal, which Premier League club has the best a) home fans, and b) away fans?

In my experience, the Northern clubs are the loudest both at home and away, i.e Sunderland, Newcastle, Manchester United and Liverpool. I think Liverpool were the loudest I ever heard away!

15. Have you ever played football with Dragon Peter Jones? I bet he’s hopeless, with a touch like a baby elephant.

I haven’t! I’d like to though. With those long limbs, I bet I could dragon-slay him at Football, too!
