Yellowjackets go 1-1 in most recent conference games

Feb. 12—ALTO — Alto went 1-1 in a pair of district frays that were played at DeVonte Mumphrey Memorial Court at Yellowjacket Gymnasium.

The Jackets (18-11, 5-6) earned a 63-54 victory over Mount Enterprise Tuesday and lost, 63-54 to Cushing's Bearkats Friday night.

Heading into the final regular season game on Tuesday (6:15 p.m. at Price-Carlisle) the Yellowjackets are tied for third place, along with Carlisle and Mt. Enterprise,in the loop standings.

Alto outscored Mt. Enterprise, 31-24, in the final half in posting the win. EJ Lacy scored 20 points and pulled down seven rebounds to spark the Jackets to victory.

JJ Rollins added 18 points and eight boards while Keegan Davis scored 12 points and came down with four rebounds.

In the Cushing game, Lacy fired in 19 points and snatched up seven rebounds.

Rollins tossed in 12 points, to go along with eight rebounds, and Davis chipped in 10 points and four caroms.
