Woking’s poor run of form in the Vanarama National League continued as Jack Stretton’s early red card contributed to a 2-0 defeat by Yeovil.

The hosts have now won just once in their last 13 league matches and are just two points above the relegation zone.

Their cause was not helped by on-loan Stockport forward Stretton’s 17th-minute dismissal, and the 10 men could only hold out for another 14 minutes before Brett McGavin gave the visitors the lead with his fifth goal of the season.

Finn Cousin-Dawson, himself sent off last week, added the second at the far post 11 minutes from time to lift Yeovil up to eighth.
