You twits! Diamond geezer Brendan Rodgers denies being Brendan Rodgers

There are bad times for all Brendan Rodgers.

The one who managed Liverpool until yesterday is now looking for a new job.

And the one who plays baseball for the Colorado Rockies is trying to convince people on Twitter that he's not the axed former Anfield boss.

Shortstop Rodgers was moved to confirm that he is not in fact the Liver Pool [sic] manager, as his mentions exploded with messages intended for the other Rodgers.

Most of the messages were from well-wishers and fans wishing Rodgers (Liverpool) all the best after getting the sack so at least the baseball star was not feeling too trolled.
