The key word is tasteful. That’s the thought that comes to mind seeing the pads of this young goaltender, an obvious Twitter follower of Adam Henrique of the New Jersey Devils.

You see, over the summer, Devils netminder and good Long Island boy Keith Kinkaid held a contest for fans to design his pads for the 2016-17 NHL season. There were a number of entries, including one from Henrique that featured Stephen Gionta in the timeless art of seduction pose, as best displayed by George Costanza of “Seinfeld” in “The Package” episode.

For whatever reason Kinkaid didn’t go with Henrique’s entry, but this little goalie was wise enough to know that Gionta’s a fun guy, like George.

Kinkaid responded in the way many probably did:

We now await the brave goaltender willing to feature noted snowball thrower Franklin Delano Romanowski on their pads.
