Ty Nsekhe is just the latest Cowboys lineman to be sidelined ahead of their Week 2 matchup with the Los Angeles Chargers.
Joey Bosa and Ezekiel Elliott have been close friends since arriving as freshmen at Ohio State in 2013. On Sunday, the former college roommates find themselves on opposite sidelines in one of the spotlight games of the Week 2 schedule. Bosa and the Los Angeles Chargers play in front of fans at their palatial Inglewood, California, home for the first time when they host Elliott and the Dallas Cowboys.
Dallas Cowboys offensive lineman Ty Nsekhe is out for Sunday's game at the Los Angeles Chargers after being hospitalized overnight because of heat illness. Coach Mike McCarthy said Nsekhe was treated after practice Thursday, and the athletic trainers decided to send him to the hospital because they didn't like the way the 35-year-old was responding to rehydration. The Cowboys have been practicing mostly outside since training camp ended, with temperatures generally in the 80s and low 90s.
