Newly acquired tight end Zach Ertz has spent the past few days on the Cardinals' practice field, working to build his connection with quarterback Kyler Murray so Arizona's offense can keep rolling. Ertz, traded to the Cardinals last week after more than eight seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles, made it to Arizona in time to fly with the team to Cleveland for last weekend's 37-14 victory over the Browns. “I don't think that was an accident,” Ertz said, grinning.

Three-time Pro Bowl right tackle Lane Johnson returned to practice with the Philadelphia Eagles on Wednesday after missing the last three games because of a personal matter that he revealed was related to anxiety and depression. “Anything our players deal with, we want to be there for them,” first-year Eagles coach Nick Sirianni said. Jordan Mailata, who moved over from left tackle to the right side to replace Johnson, said it’s “bloody great” to have him back.
