Lehner, Golden Knights shut down Blackhawks 4-1 in opener
Robin Lehner had more trouble with one of his skates than he did with his former team. Reilly Smith, Shea Theodore and the Vegas Golden Knights took good care of their goaltender Tuesday night. Theodore and William Carrier scored 2:17 apart midway through the second period, Lehner made 19 saves against his former team, and the Golden Knights beat the Chicago Blackhawks 4-1 in Game 1 of their Stanley Cup playoffs first-round matchup.

Pacioretty returns as Knights face surprising Blackhawks
The Chicago Blackhawks weren't supposed to reach the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs. The Vegas Golden Knights weren't expected to be the top-seeded team in the Western Conference. "The real fun begins," said Chicago forward Jonathan Toews, who won Stanley Cup titles with the Blackhawks in 2010, 2013 and 2015.
