Kotkaniemi scores twice, Kochetkov makes 22 saves to give Hurricanes 2-1 win over Stars
Jesperi Kotkaniemi scored both Carolina goals, the second coming 24 seconds after Dallas’ tying goal midway through the third period, as the Hurricanes beat the Stars 2-1 on Tuesday night. Kotkaniemi was credited with the second goal after the puck deflected off him near the crease from a shot by Sean Walker. Pyotr Kochetkov made 22 saves for the Hurricanes, who swept a road back-to-back after winning 4-3 in overtime at Chicago on Monday.

Aho scores in overtime as the Hurricanes beat the Blackhawks 4-3
Sebastian Aho scored 59 seconds into overtime, and the Carolina Hurricanes beat the Chicago Blackhawks 4-3 on Monday night. Seth Jarvis, Jordan Staal and Jesperi Kotkaniemi also scored for Carolina in its second straight win. Staal picked up his 700th career point in game No. 1,300.
