He has made 149 appearances in all competitions, helping the club to reach the semi finals of both the Copa del Rey and Europa League in 2016-17. 

Juanfran

A key player for Atletico Madrid since he arrived at the club in 2011 from Osasuna, the Spanish European Championship winner has made over 250 appearances for Atletico and was part of the side that won the La Liga title in 2013-14. 


He also has a Europa League winners' medal and has been to two Champions League finals.

Giorgio Chiellini

The Juventus centre-back has been a stalwart at the Old Lady since he broke into the first team in 2005-06. 


He has won the Serie A title six times and has won three Coppa Italias. He is however most famous for being involved in the Luis Suarez biting scandal at the 2014 World Cup.

Miranda

The Brazilian defender, formerly of Atletico Madrid, has spent the last two seasons at Inter Milan. 


He won the La Liga title at Atletico and also the Europa League. Since his move to Italy, he has become an important player for the Nerazzurri as Inter aim to try to return to the glory days. 

Jeremy Toljan

The 23-year-old Hoffenheim left back enjoyed a fine season in 2016-17 as Julian Nagelsmann's side ensured qualification to the play-off round of the Champions League.


He was part of the Germany side which won the silver medal at the 2016 Olympics and also played in the European U-21 Championship this summer. 

Marcos Llorente

Marcos Llorente is a 22 year old holding midfielder who has come through the academy at Real Madrid.


First team opportunities have been limited at Los Blancos which led to him being loaned out to Alaves. Llorente impressed while away as Alaves finished 9th in La Liga and reached the final of the Copa del Rey

Pontus Wernbloom

The Swedish international has been at CSKA Moscow since 2011, having previously spent time in Holland with AZ Alkmaar. 


He has proven to be a key player for the Russians, helping them to the Premier League title three times in four seasons as well as a Russian Cup in 2013. 

Bernard

The Brazilian left winger has been an excellent player for Shakhtar Donetsk since his arrival in 2013. He has scored 18 goals in 121 appearances.


He has helped Shakhtar to two titles in the Ukrainian League, including in 2016-17 where they finished 14 points ahead of Dynamo Kyiv.

Isco

The 25-year-old midfielder arrived at the Bernabeu with a big reputation with Iker Casillas calling him the most promising midfielder in Europe. 


He didn't disappoint with 11 goals in his first season as Real won the Champions League. He has since helped the Spanish giants to two further success in the major competition.

Mario Balotelli

There is never a dull moment when Balotelli is around. He is currently playing with French side Nice, where he scored 15 goals in his first season. 


The striker had spells in England with Manchester City, where he lifted the FA Cup and Premier League, and with Liverpool, where he failed to win over the Anfield faithful.
