This top four battle between Chelsea and Manchester City will be significant for both sides. A win for the Blues will edge them closer towards claiming the league title; City on the other hand will look to keep themselves in with a mathematical chance for the title, and also secure more points to solidify that precious Champions League spot. Diego Costa vs Nicolas Otamendi

Chelsea's in form Spanish striker has struck the net 17 times for the Blues so far this season and will hope to dent Manchester City's title hopes this Wednesday night.

The 28-year-old forward has revitalised himself under Antonio Conte's leadership and is one of the key factors in the London side's versatile attack. However, one man that will look to stop the dominating striker is City's defender Nicolas Otamendi.

The Argentine will try to keep up with Costa in terms of pace and in physical aspects throughout the match.

David Luiz vs Leroy Sane

Sane has added pace to City's wing since his arrival from Bundesliga side Schalke at the start of the season.

The German youngster has scored four goals in 12 appearances and will look to break Chelsea's solid defence later this week. He is simply a vital player in the Sky Blues' attack and is an exciting young talent who is improving every week. David Luiz and company will try to stop the 21-year-old from getting anywhere near their goal.

Luiz has utilised Antonio Conte's defensive tactics this season, which is why they have only conceded 23 goals. The Brazilian defender will hope to use his strength and out-muscle Sane in set pieces and aerial opportunities.

Sergio Aguero vs N'Golo Kante

Aguero has been City's saviour at tough times this season. The Argentine international has scored 14 goals in 18 appearances so far and will look to end the season on a high note.

The star striker will hope to get on the scoresheet in this crucial clash after his goal on the weekend against Arsenal was not enough to claim the important three points. Meanwhile, Chelsea's N'Golo Kante will hope he can only add pressure on Aguero, and do what he does best in producing some crucial tackles.

Kante can hold the ball up and will most likely give Aguero a hard time in the centre of pitch. It will be a battle of patience and perseverance between the two.
