Amazing sand sculptures depict heroes of Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars

With just sand and water, artists from around the world create a fantasy world full of magic, inspired by Disneyland® Paris and all heroes of Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars.

The festival is built by 40 professional artists from all around the globe.  Not less than 240 trucks of special sand is sculpted during one month of preparation, on an area of 10,000m², creating a visitors circuit that takes one hour to complete, with 150 sculptures from 2 to 6 meters high to discover.

Around the Castle of Sleeping Beauty you see artistic impressions of the most famous Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars characters of all times.

The Sand Sculpture Festival is officially the largest festival of its kind in the world (Guinness Book of Records 2010).  Read more from Disney Sand Magic >>>
