Kylian Mbappe

Club: Paris Saint-Germain

Value: £161.6m

Last season's breakthrough player in Europe switched allegiances within Ligue 1 over the summer, as PSG broke the bank to bring the 18-year-old French striker to the capital as part of a €180m move, initially on loan, to make him the second most expensive player of all time.

Dele Alli

Club: Tottenham Hotspur

Value: £159.3m

Another player who has risen to stardom in just a few seasons, England international midfielder Alli was signed by Spurs for just £5m and has the potential to be one of the most complete players in world football.

Leroy Sane

Club: Manchester City

Value: £110m

The German winger is having a tremendous campaign with City this season and has exploded under the guidance of Pep Guardiola.

The former Schalke man cost City around £37m last summer and has already proven his worth with some outstanding performances.

Ousmane Dembele

Club: Barcelona

Value: £106.4m

His value understandably dropped since the start of the season, as a result of a long-term injury sustained just weeks into his Barcelona career, but the Neymar-replacement remains one of the brightest young talents in Europe.

Marcus Rashford

Club: Manchester United

Value: £103.1m

Completely unheard of at two years ago, Marcus Rashford burst onto the scene when given a rare opportunity and he has remained a key squad member for both club and country ever since. The 20-year-old is tipped to become a world-class striker at Old Trafford.

Gabriel Jesus

Club: Manchester City

Value: £95.8m

According to the CIES report the Brazilian striker has seen his value more than double since the start of the season, with Jesus playing a major role in the Citizens' incredible winning streak.

Timo Werner

Club: RB Leipzig

Value: £81.8m

Expected to lead the line for Germany at next summer's World Cup, Timo Werner already has seven goals in 10 international appearances and is just as prolific in the Bundesliga with Red Bull Leipzig, who signed him for just €10m from Stuttgart two seasons ago.

Anthony Martial

Club: Manchester United

Value: £69.4m

After coming through the ranks at Lyon, Anthony Martial really rose to prominence with Monaco, which attracted the interest of the Red Devils, who may end up paying £58m for his services.

In the Premier League, the French international has shown glimpses of his talent but has yet to reach his full potential.

Christian Pulisic

Club: Borussia Dortmund

Value: £66.5m

The "golden boy" of American football is the holder of countless records due to his emergence at such a young age.

The youngest foreigner to ever score in the Bundesliga, the 19-year-old winger is held in extremely high regard by those at BVB.

Davinson Sanchez

Club: Tottenham Hotspur

Value: £58.6m

Spurs' record signing has slipped straight into the side, with Mauricio Pochettino's preferred three at the back formation suiting the Colombian international.

Bought from Ajax over the summer for around £42m, the 21-year-old is already looking a tidy piece of business.
