Longlisted for 2019's Booker Prize, this book is a love story that draws parallel between nineteenth century when Mary Shelly wrote Frankenstein and to the modern day and age of robotics. Also, it's a love story that dwidles on the edge of sci-fi. It took me a while to finish this book, as I was kind of put off by the style of Winterson's writing. But I guess stuff like this gets you on the longlist of the Booker Prize.

Being a huuuuuuge fan of Haruki Murakami, I was elated when he dropped his new short story for The New Yorker. Murakami has often spoken about his love for music and how it influences his writing. This is is like an ode to The Beatles, written in classic Murakami style. You can read it here.

I love Greta Gerwig. I love how she manages to portray the simplicity and the hardships of life and make it entertaining, like many of her previous movies. For all you Little Women book lovers, this is a great watch. For all those who haven't read the book, this is a great watch for you too. Watch out for the standout star of the movie: Florence Pugh.

Firstly, I love Tarantino. 'Pulp Fiction' is one of my all time favourite movies. I was extremely excited to catch this movie, especially after it got nominated for 10 Oscars. But you know when the things you are most excited about ends up being a complete disappointment? This one was just that. But hey, at least Brad Pitt got an Oscar out of this. You can watch this movie of Amazon Prime Video.

Another disappointment. The first movie was kickass. The second one was great. But this third one didn't live up to the standards of the other two. Forget the plot, even the action and the fight scenes weren't as great either. Watch it only if you are in the mood for some mindless, timepass, action flick.

Absolutely loved this movie. Taika Waititi finds humour in the most grim situations with such a simple story about a young boy in Hitler's army, who finds out his mother is hiding a Jewish girl in their home. Everything about this movie was *chef's kiss*. Watch it before it goes from the theatres.

In another disappointments of the month, it's The Witcher. It's not that I was expecting it to be as amaze as 'GoT', but I hoped that it would come close. But mid-way through the series I regretted wasting my time on this show, even though Henry Cavill looks great in those tight leather pants.

After being recommended by a few people, I ended up bingeing this show over a weekend. The story revolves around a detective from Tokyo, who scours London for his missing brother, who has been involved with the Yakuza and accused of murder. Great characters, great treatment, great sub-plots. Definitely worth a watch. You can binge it too on Netflix.

This song is a match made in heaven as two of my favourite musicians/bands came together to create this beaut of a track. Part sultry, part poppy, full indie, I haven't heard anything else this month. Let this be your midnight jam.
