When you think of mermaids, big burly dudes probably don’t spring to mind, but a few Canadians are making a strong case to amend the stereotype.
Together they form the Newfoundland and Labrador Beard and Mustache Club and they’re making waves with their 2018 mermaid-inspired calendar called “Merb’ys.” (“B’ys” is Newfoundland slang for buddy.)
