Naomi Campbell is undeniably an icon in the fashion world - and beyond.
The London-born supermodel started modelling at the age of 15 and now, aged 50, still boasts an enviable array of luxury fashion and beauty contracts.
Campbell’s career has included numerous highs and history-making moments: she was the first black model to open for Prada and land a French Vogue and TIME magazine cover.
Like any model worth their salt, Campbell’s proved to be a style chameleon over the years. While her own most famous look - waist-long black hair, sculpted cheek bones, legs most of us could only ever dream of and piercing brown eyes - is infamous, she’s also worked a pixie cut, natural curls, a long bob and more over the years.
Sporting a razor sharp bob and a rare fringe, Campbell's old Hollywood glamour look is a winner. She often opts for floor-length gowns on the red carpet, but this gold Valentino gown is something special. [Getty Images] Campbell opted to wear Valentino on more than one occasion in 2019. This pastel purple dress - complete with feathered cape and lace tights - even required stewards to help lift it up the stairs. [Getty Images] Attending the Vanity Fair Oscar party in Beverly Hills, California, Campbell accentuated her new, shorter hairstyle with a backless Alexander McQueen gown. We don't know what we love more, the embellished sleeves or the high neckline. [Getty Images] Campbell opted for a new take on her usually slick straight hair by adding some loose waves to her look for the LACMA Art + Film Gala. The Atelier Versace scoop neck fitted gown looked great against diamond cuffs and earrings. [Getty Images] attends the 2018 CFDA Fashion Awards at Brooklyn Museum on June 4, 2018 in New York City. This Roberto Cavalli metallic-look gown, complete with fishtail, is befitting of 2016 style. Campbell wore her signature two cuff bracelets and added red accents to her eye make-up to complete the look. [Getty Images] Campbell stole the show at The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in 2005. We can't decide whether it's the gold wings, the barely there stilettos or the diamond-encrusted trumpet that makes this look so iconic. We're going with the trumpet. [Getty Images] We are a big fan of Campbell's backcombed quiff and thick curls. The hair works perfectly (as if we were in doubt) with the sheer black gown and pearl necklace. [Getty Images] Between the laidback curls and beige boho style, this look appears to be taken straight out of the wardrobe of Queen of boho, Zoë Kravitz, and we love this style on Campbell. [Getty Images] From boho chic to effortlessly sleek, Campbell rocked this look and the one before it during the same fashion week. Keeping the structured bob simple, she ensured all eyes were on the show stopping dress. [Getty Images] Campbell arrived at the wedding reception of Marc Jacobs and Char DeFrancesco in this beautiful Balmain jumpsuit - complete with a cape. She finished off the look with fishtail style plaits. [Getty Images] With natural, shoulder length hair and minimal make-up, Campbell accepted her award at the Black Girls Rock! Show in style. Usually sticking to more muted colours, this bright orange gown was an attention grabber, that's for sure. [Getty Images] This 1999 look isn't a million miles away from her Fashion For Relief London 2019 style a mere 20 years later. This fitted, sheer gown was made for Campbell's stunning wavy hair. [Getty Images] Here's another style from the archives, plucked out of the Vivienne Westwood Fall Runway in 1994. The outfit is almost secondary to Campbell's pulled back curls and let's face it, the outfit is pretty iconic, too. [Getty Images] Channeling her inner Anna Wintour, Campbell rocked the blunt bob and oversized shades for the LVMH Prize 2019 Edition. The suit, a very different look for her, was a hit and we are especially in love with the boxed bag. [Getty Images]
