Television cameras and microphones caught Tomic directing a number of sexually explicit comments toward someone in the crowd during the first set of his 6-4 6-3 4-6 7-6(0) defeat to world number 72 Dzumhur. Charlie Webster, a former anchor for Sky Sports News, was flown home on a specialist plane with a team of medical professionals who cared for her during the 20-hour journey. The defending champion struggled with his form and fitness in a laboured 6-3 5-7 6-2 6-1 win over Poland's Jerzy Janowicz on Monday, adding a right elbow issue to the left wrist injury that has dogged him in recent months. The left-handed Vesely beat Djokovic on clay in Monte Carlo earlier this year but the Serbian world number one said that defeat would have no bearing on Wednesday's encounter. More »
