Revealed: the world's top ten most valuable sports teams

Forbes magazine has revealed their list of the world’s most valuable sports teams.

Football plays a huge part in the rich list, with Manchester United, Real Madrid and Barcelona all sitting in the top four.

United, worth an astonishing £3.16 billion, are second with the Spanish giants following closely behind.

But the Dallas Cowboys are well clear at $4.8 billion (£3.67bn) a 14 percent increase from last year.

When Jerry Jones bought the Cowboys in 1989 they faced closure and were losing $1 million a month.

Manchester City only find themselves 30th, while Arsenal are 39th on the list with Chelsea sitting in 46th place.
