Fabio Capello has been sacked by the Russian FA after a dismal Euro 2016 qualifying campaign which has seen them lose to minnows Austria and look in real danger of miss out on a spot at next year's tournament.
The former England boss had a contract with the Russians that ran until the end of the 2018 World Cup, which Russia is hosting - and his contract had been extended until then despite the side getting knocked out of last year's World Cup at the Group Stage.
Now, though, Capello has been fired and handed a £10.5 million pay-off - one of the greatest sporting compensation packages of all time. But it's not quite the biggest ever...
