PSA: McDonald's Christmas Drinks Are Finally Here, And There's A New Festive Latte

McDonald’s Christmas menu is always an exciting one, and while the fast food joint is yet to let us know what foodie offerings it has planned for the festive season, the team have in fact announced what festive hot drinks they'll have in 2022. So, who's for a sneak peek?

First up, fans will be bursting with excitement to hear that Macca's Hot Chocolate Deluxe – a silky treat made with a rich, chocolate syrup, topped with a swirl of cream and a chocolatey dusting – is back again this year, after a ridiculously successful 2021 launch.

Next, and brand-new for 2022, McDonald's is welcoming a Caramel Waffle Latte. Comprising of a smooth latte, blended with a caramel waffle flavour syrup and topped with delicious caramel cream and caramel sugar dusting, this sounds waffle–licious!

McDonald's Caramel Waffle Latte goes up against Starbucks' returning Caramel Waffle Latte, and you bet we'll be carrying out a taste test comparing the two (watch this space).

Not stopping there, McDonald's is also debuting a brand-new range of Christmas cups. This time around, expect designs featuring a variety of festive icons: crackers, candy canes, holly and festive jumpers, all in the season’s statement colours – red and green.

Both McDonald's Hot Chocolate Deluxe (£1.49) and Caramel Waffle Latte (£2.09) will be arriving in restaurants and drive-thrus on the 3 November, 2022.

As for the fast food chain's complete Christmas menu, we're yet to hear details. But if it's anything like last year's (Festive Stacks, Celebration McFlurries, Cheese Melt Dippers, Festive Pies and more) then we're not a single bit concerned.
