    Time:80'
    • Wales
    • New Zealand
    • FT Sure enough there is the final whistle and New Zealand have secured the Grand Slam having beaten England, Scotland, Ireland and now Wales
    • 80' CONVERSION! Jones adds the conversion with what should be the last kick of the game ...
    • 79' TRY! Finally Wales make one of their over-laps count as the ball finds it's way to Shanklin from the base of a great scrum. The ball gets worked through a few players before eventually Stephen Jones finds Lee Byrne and the full back darts through the gap to dive over the line
    • 77' Richie McCaw is thumped on the chin by Andy Powell in a poor excuse for a tackle. The Wales substitute made no attempt to really make that tackle and is VERY lucky to escape without a yellow card
    • 76' CONVERSION! Another three points for New Zealand make this a very comfortable win even though it has been harder fought than the scoreline would suggest
    • 76' TRY! Cowan finds Muliaina, who offloads to substitute John Afoa on his way down in the tackle. And the prop forward just, just gets to the line as he is chased down by the Wales defence
    • 73' CONVERSION! Carter may have missed pretty much everything in the first half but he's hit everything since the interval as he adds another two points
    • 72' TRY! Isaia Toeava secures the win for New Zealand with eight minutes to go as he receives the ball on the left wing from Anthony Boric and eases over in the corner to touch down for his first try of the afternoon
    • 71' Kaino juggles with the ball but does well to hold on and not spill it forward as New Zealand press on after a James Hook mistake. The All Blacks have men over on the right ...
    • 67' PENALTY! Jones isn't sure he's landed his kick as he watches it right to the posts. But it's a classy kick and it goes over with plenty of height and distance to bring Wales back within striking distance once again
    • 66' The scrum, or more to the point the ridiculously elongated process that is setting the scrum, is causing this match to become very stop-start as Woodcock goes down once again to collapse the scrum and it's another kickable penalty to Wales
    • 63' PENALTY! Wales hit back immediately after the re-start, New Zealand being penalised for a high tackle, and Stephen Jones adds another three points by drilling the ball smack through the middle of the posts
    • 61' PENALTY! Carter adds another three points to his tally after a panicking Wales side are penalised for going in off their feet at the ruck as New Zealand push towards the line. Daniel Braid re-joins the fray before the re-start and NZ are back up to their full compliment of players
    • 57' Hook down the left wing finds Lee Byrne after a break by Shanklin. But the full-back is brought down and the ball is turned over and Wales are 10m short yet again
    • 55' CONVERSION! Carter may be struggling today but that was a cracking conversion as he drilled it right between the posts from on the left touchline
    • 54' TRY! Hosea Gear uses his superior strength and pace to touch down in the corner before being dragged into touch by Phillips and North and that's a shocking bit of play from the Welsh. That all stemmed from a failure to find touch with a penalty kick and New Zealand have scored with a one-man disavantage
    • 52' PENALTY! Easy for Jones as he adds another three points to bring Wales to within one point of New Zealand. They really should have more to show from this re-start though than just the three points.
    • 50' Substitute Daniel Braid is sent to the sin-bin for failing to roll away in the tackle after bringing down James Hook just five metres out. Wales will have another penalty and New Zealand will be down to 14 men for the next 10 minutes
    • 49' Despite a long period of possession Wales still have no try to show for it as New Zealand's impressive defence keeps the hosts pinned to the 22yard line. Wales have a line-out though ...
    • 47' McCaw is forced to defend as Rees punts a kick upfield that ends up behind the All Blacks defensive line ...
    • 43' Shanklin breaks on the right wing for Wales but only really gets as far as the half-way before he is brought down and a scramble for the ball begins again
    • 41' Stephen Jones gets the second half underway as All Blacks coach Wayne Smith, on the touchline, warns that New Zealand are going to "run them ragged" in this second half ...
    • HT Carter really is not on form as he misses his fourth kick of the afternoon with the last kick of the half. It was 47m out but right in front of the posts and the Kiwi fly-half is more than capable of landing that kind of kick
    • 40+1 Gethin Jenkins is penalised and New Zealand will have a chance to kick at goal from just inside the half-way line on a pitch that is breaking up concerningly in Cardiff
    • 39' PENALTY! Sure enough Jones does have both the height and the distance to give his side another three points, albeit only just the height (that was a bit of an odd kick). We'll just have time for the re-start
    • 38' Another penalty goes the way of Wales as Woodcock is penalised for collapsing the scrum. This should be another straight-forward kick for Jones as he is right in front of the posts
    • 36' There's tension brewing as Whitelock and Philips end up in a bit of a tussle - well the All Blacks front-rower basically has Philips in a headlock. No punches are thrown though and we remain in the same spot that we have for much of the last five minutes
    • 33' PENALTY! Stephen Jones gets his side up to six points after his side finally make their pressure tell, New Zealand penalised for killing the ball off their feet. It's a kick from 30 metres out from the Welsh fly-half as Wales reduce their deficit to one converted try
    • 30' Hook comes closest on the right wing but he is dragged down just short before Bradley Davies spills the ball forward as he touches down. New Zealand escape. Just.
    • 29' Hook gets absolutely battered by McCaw as he receives the ball near the left wing from Stephen Jones. Wales retain possession though and recycle with Rees. Wales have numbers out to the right ...
    • 27' Carter spills the ball under pressure just 10m out from his line as Mike Phillips gets a hand to the ball as Carter plans to kick a clearance and it'll be a Wales scrum in a threatening position
    • 25' Hosea Gear looks to run the ball out of his own half and receives decent support from Muliaina but not enough to stop Wales from turning the ball over and regaining possession
    • 22' Carter hooks the conversion wide again! He's not got his kicking boots on today...
    • 21' TRY! So so easy for Mils Muliaina, skipping through the Welsh line after a loose defensive kick and absolutely no chasing from the home side. Wales are showing no heart at all at the moment, and the All Blacks are tearing right through them time
    • 20' Sonny Bill Williams draws a challenge, before offloading to Gear, who is tackled
    • 19' It's hoofed upfield to the All Black fullback, and Mike Phillips almost makes an interception! He just can't gather the ball, and New Zealand advance with Sonny Bill Williams on the right wing
    • 18' It's out for a Welsh lineout, and Matthew Rees gets a ticking off from referee Alan Lewis for some energetic raking of Richie McCaw at the breakdown
    • 17' OOF! BIG HIT on Bradley Davies by Jerome Kaino as the ball leaves the ruck! New Zealand turn the ball over and move it quickly to the right wing
    • 16' Better. Adam Jones finds Alun Wyn Jones on the left wing as the Welsh enjoy some quality time on the ball.
    • 14' Horrible line-out from the Welsh, launching the ball right over the jumpers and gifting the ball back into All Black hands. It's going to be a long afternoon for the Welsh if they keep this up
    • 12' Carter pulls another penalty wide of the right post, and that's a couple of nervy-looking efforts from the new record-holder!
    • 10' Wales committing far too many errors at the moment - missing tackles and dropping passes. An eerie silence descends over the Millennium Stadium
    • 8' PENALTY! CARTER BECOMES TEST RUGBY'S ALL-TIME LEADING POINTS SCORER! Simple penalty down the middle for the All Black, and Wales are struggling to contain New Zealand early on
    • 6' Sonny Bill Williams held off a limp tackle from Welsh defence for that try , giving the All Blacks a man over on the left which they exploit expertly for Hosea Gear to brush off another tackle and find Toeava to go over in the corner. Carter misses the conversion left of the post, and it's 5-3 with six minutes played!
    • 5' TRY! Isaia Toeava goes over on the left touchline to give New Zealand the lead!
    • 5' The All Blacks win the lineout 15 yards from the tryline on the right, and move the ball swiftly along the line
    • 4' New Zealand attack on the right flank, and Wales are penalised for going into the ruck off feet.
    • 2' PENALTY! Wales win a penalty inside the first minute of play! Hosea Gear collides with Stephen Jones off the ball under the high kick-off, and Jones steps up from 35 metres... And Wales take the lead!
    • 1' And Stephen Jones gets us underway!
    • 17:15 There's a tremendous atmosphere in Cardiff, and the Millennium Stadium crowd almost lift the roof off with a rendition of Land of my Fathers. We're seconds away from kick-off!
    • 17:15 New Zealand's Dan Carter could overtake England's Jonny Wilkinson as the leading point-scorer in Test rugby history this afternoon! The All Blacks' fly half needs just three points to overtake Wilkinson's 1,178, surely he'll get them against Wales today, won't he?
