  1. - - FERRER 2-1 - Another epic service game for Ferrer as he is pushed to break points by Llodra. But fails to take any of the four he holds, mainly succumbing to the Spaniard's solid defence and going for too much. And in the end, with 23 minutes now on the clock, Ferrer goes on to hold with a forehand winner

  2. - - FERRER 1-1 - It's a much easier hold for Llodra to get his side of the scoreboard ticking over. In fact it was a love service hold for the Frenchman, much to the delight of the somewhat over-excited home crowd

  3. - - FERRER 1-0 - A tough opening service game for the Spaniard as he first finds himself 0-30 down then pegged back to deuce. But eventually he comes through it, with six minutes already on the clock, with a forehand that Llodra cannot return in play.

  4. - - FERRER 0-0 - So the players are ready to get going and it will be the world number five to kick things off by serving first

  5. - - These two have faced each other just twice before with Ferrer winning both of those encounters, both of which came in 2010 - the first at the Miami Masters and the second at the Shanghai Masters. Ferrer won both in straight sets

  6. - - I will be here for the duration of this match so if you why don't you get in touch on twiiter - @pippawdavis. FOLLOW ON TWITTER

  7. - - Polish qualifier Jerzy Janowicz has already booked his place in the final, continuing his remarkable run through the draw. In case you missed that match, you can catch up on exactly how he reached the championship match in our report. Janowicz downs Simon to reach Paris final

  2. I hope Ferrer wins this tournament, He has been up agains all the best players in the past, I first saw him play against Roger in 2003 in the Australian Open. Roger beat him then, so I would like him to win here.
