Vehicle Submerged, Boil Advisory in Effect Following New Jersey Water Main Break

Water from a broken main pipe flooded a road in Branch Brook Park, New Jersey, on Tuesday, August 9.

Footage livestreamed by Belleville City Mayor Michael Melham shows water gushing upwards into a flooded street.

Local media reported that a 42-inch water main broke around 6 am on Tuesday. The report said that water pressure was restored by the Tuesday evening, but a boil advisory remained in place.
