Yahoo Daily Fantasy analyst Tank Williams offers his picks for single-game DFS contests as Pittsburgh hosts Cleveland.
TANK WILLIAMS: Now, for the Monday Night Football Slate, like, honestly, I really can't tell you which team is going to win this one between Cleveland and Pittsburgh because it seems like neither team wants to win. So I have no conviction there. But I do have some trends that I would like to see. And my first play is going to be Donovan Peoples Jones. He's only 11 bucks in this one. I feel like the Pittsburgh Steelers pass defense is giving up big play after big play all this year.
If Baker Mayfield is going to be able to challenge that second there, it's going to be with the deep ball. DPJ has been the option that he likes to attack defenses with down deep in the field. And so that's why I really like him. He's going to be a dart throw. But at 11 bucks, I'm sure you're willing to throw that dart. Now on the flip side, I'm going with my man, Nick Chubb, like, that Pittsburgh defense, that run game, I mean, I remember Detroit getting off him.
We've seen several running backs. Austin Ekeler get off on these guys. And so when you have a guy like Nick Chubb, I feel like they're going to lean heavily on him. He only had like 16 carries, 61 yards in the first match up. I feel like they really feed him heavily in this one. And for my superstar, I'm going with-- well, no, actually, Nick Chavis is my superstar. But Pat Freiermuth is going to be the guy that I run him back with Pittsburgh because I feel like he missed last game.
The Cleveland Browns are missing their 2 starting safeties. And I feel like that's going to be big. Big Ben is going to need somebody to lean on because Denzel Ward is going to be covering over Diontae Johnson. So that's why I like Pat Freiermuth on this one. So these are my 3 plays. I don't know if either one of these guys will be a superstar. But I expect each one of these guys to get in the end zone and that's why they're my plays. Nick Chubb should be that guy, though. He's my superstar.
