Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie talk to cancer survivors

Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie have spoken to teenagers and young people being supported by Teenage Cancer Trust, hearing how they have coped during the coronavirus pandemic. One of them, 21-year-old Darcy Shaw, told Eugenie how she has become less fearful of her scars after seeing that the princess chose a wedding dress which purposefully showed her own scar. The princess was thrilled to hear her story and told her scars are beautiful, and tell a story. The princesses heard about the work going online to keep supporting young people, including how they play games like bingo together.
