GATSBY WELLES: These are like movie big shots she's hanging out with, like--
CHAN TYRELL: Suits?
GATSBY WELLES: Yeah, it's a director and a screenwriter.
CHAN TYRELL: Artists, they're usually passionate.
GATSBY WELLES: Oh, Jesus Christ. OK, you're right. I gotta call her now.
CHAN TYRELL: I mean, the sooner the better.
GATSBY WELLES: You think there's that much of a rush?
CHAN TYRELL: I don't know.
GATSBY WELLES: Oh, Christ, all right. All right, it's your idea. So what do you think I should say?
CHAN TYRELL: There's nothing you can say.
GATSBY WELLES: What do you mean?
CHAN TYRELL: Without sounding possessive.
GATSBY WELLES: Christ, Chan, you just encouraged me to call her. Now I'm asking for your help and you're telling me there's nothing I can say?
CHAN TYRELL: You're so wishy-washy. I mean, now that I see your MO, I know exactly why Amy 86'd you.
GATSBY WELLES: Oh, no, no, no. Amy didn't dump me. I got sick of seeing her.
CHAN TYRELL: Yeah, because every time you'd call and I'd say it was you on the phone, she'd wave her arms and say, "I'm not in, I'm not in."
