New talks on Colorado River rights

New details today California, Arizona, and Nevada have reached a deal with the colorado river basin states to conserve billions of gallons of water. But the deal still needs additional approval. The agreement says those states will conserve three million acre-feet of water by 2026 and about 1.5 million acre-feet by the end of 2024. One acre-foot is about 326 thousand gallons and is enough water for two to three u-s households. News5's Alasyn Zimmerman spoke with David Shohet- a local water rights attorney in Colorado Springs who says this is significant.
