Woodward Fire in Point Reyes National Seashore Burning More Than 1,100 Acres

Fire officials confirmed that the Woodward Fire burning in Marin County spread to 1,100 acres and was zero percent contained as of Wednesday afternoon, August 19.

This video shows the fire burning at Point Reyes National Seashore, sending large plumes of smoke and ash into the air.

The vegetation fire, which began on Monday, August 17, was burning adjacent to the Woodward Valley Trail and was difficult for fire crews to access, according to reports.
